Easily accessible from the M1 and M18 with wide-bay parking

 

From M1

  • Leave the M1 at Junction 33 and take the exit signposted for Rotherham A630.
  • At the next roundabout (Rotherway) take the 2nd exit signposted Bawtry A631 and District General Hospital.
  • At the traffic lights filter left on to Moorgate Road and follow signs for District General Hospital.
  • Proceed along this road for about one mile; Swinden House is on the right immediately opposite the hospital.
  • Turn right into the drive way, Swinden House is situated at the top of the drive.

    From M18

  • Leave the M18 at Junction 1 and take the exit signposted for Rotherham A631.
  • At the next roundabout (Wickersley roundabout) take the 2nd exit for the A631.
  • At the Brecks roundabout take the 1st exit signposted A631.
  • At Worrygoose roundabout, continue straight on along Bawtry Road.
  • At the traffic lights filter right on to Moorgate Road and follow signs for District General Hospital.
  • Proceed along this road for about one mile; Swinden House is on the right immediately opposite the hospital.
  • Turn right into the drive way, Swinden House is situated at the top of the drive.

    • If using AA Route Planner or Multi-map follow instructions to Moorgate Road only. Please do not turn into Green Lane but take the turning signposted NAMTEC, Swinden House, Tata Steel.

     

    By Rail

    Swinden House is nine miles from Sheffield station and two miles from Rotherham station.

     

    By Bus

    Buses to Swinden House start from area A7 at the Rotherham Interchange.

    • You should disembark on Moorgate Road near the hospital.
